Kinmel Bay Library
Before we opened at our current site, there were library facilities at both the Merchandise Hall in Kinmel Bay and at Towyn Community Centre. In April 1985, a £120,000 purpose-built community centre opened on Kendal Road, and since then the library has shared space with community groups and, at one time, a medical clinic.
We are a community library run by both Conwy County Borough Council and by members of a local steering group.
At Kinmel Bay Library you can:
- Enjoy free access to public computers
- Log in to free Wi-Fi
- Print or scan documents
- Hire a community room
- Bring your family to the children’s library
- Take part in our weekly story times for the under-5s
Our library has public toilets and baby-changing facilities, as well as a Hearing Induction Loop and British Sign Language interpretation software. There is a bus stop on the nearby Foryd Road, and there is parking at the front of the library.
