Get a Library Card
You can become a member at any library, or join up straight away online.
When you become a member of any library in Conwy, you get free access to a wealth of resources.
We have 10 libraries across the county, and you can use your card in all of them. In fact, once you’re a member of Conwy Libraries, you’re automatically a member of the wider North Wales library family. Your card is valid in every library across Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Gwynedd and Anglesey too.
With your Conwy Library Card you can:
- Borrow up to 20 books at a time, for a 3 week period
- Borrow DVDs for one week, for a small fee
- Use the library computers free of charge (printing fees apply)
- Download e-Resources for free, including books, audiobooks and magazines
- Use online library resources for free, including Which Magazine, Ancestry and British Newspaper Archive
You also get your own digital library account, which you can log into using your Library Card number and a unique PIN, which you get when you join. The digital library lets you see what books we have in stock, and allows you to reserve them.
All you need to join is some ID with your name and current address on, such as a driving licence or utility bill. If you’re under 16, you will need consent from your parent or guardian.
